The Sons of Pitches are one of the premiere vocal groups currently working in the UK. With soaring vocals, stellar set pieces and mind-bending improvised numbers they are taking the world of entertainment by storm and it’s all without instruments. They have won multiple awards in the world of A Cappella music and their videos have had over three million views on their YouTube channel.

The group first came to the public’s attention in November 2015 when they became the winners of BBC2’s ‘The Naked Choir’ hosted by Gareth Malone. This gave ‘SoP’ the opportunity to take the plunge into making a career out of their unique brand of performance.

“The Sons of Pitches have certainly given a cappella a kick up the backside” (ThreeWeeks).

Since winning ‘The Naked Choir’, the group have toured extensively across the UK and Europe, delighting audiences from Birmingham to London and from Norway to Hong Kong. They’ve been on three nationwide tours and appeared on television once again on Sky One’s ‘Sing: Ultimate A Cappella’ as the show’s in-house band alongside host Cat Deeley. The group didn't show signs of stopping as they went around the country for their 100 Number One Hits’ UK Tour.

“The Sons of Pitches inspired and encouraged all day long and gave the students an experience they will long remember” (Chew Valley School).

Despite their recent success, the boys are loath to forget their humble beginnings performing at pubs and bars across Birmingham (as well as scraping a living by busking on Birmingham’s New Street for much of 2012!). With this in mind, the boys are proud to deliver vocal workshops for schools and community groups whenever they can.  It remains a firm belief of The Sons of Pitches that singing A Cappella is a great way to encourage creativity and to boost the confidence of both adults and children alike.
